There are a large number of diet plans available, which are based on Raw Foods. These diets are plant-based and consist of at least 75% raw food.
A Raw Food diet is commonly made up of seeds, fruit, vegetables, sprouted seeds, grains, dried fruit and juices.
A reduced amount of calorie and carbohydrate consumption leads to weight loss. It is difficult to overeat on this diet because of the high water and fiber content. It is a good diet, but difficult to sustain.
Some raw food-based diets are the Gabriel Method, Metabolism Diet, Neanderthin, Liver Cleansing Diet, and Sunfood Diet.
