The Fat Flush Diet Plan is based on the concept of providing all necessary ingredients to boost metabolism, reduce water retention and promote fat loss. It is both a detox and weight loss diet.
It consists of 3 phases:
Phase 1 - 2 weeks
This first restrictive phase allows between 1100-1200 calories per day. The purpose here is to lose bloat. In this phase alcohol, sugar, fats, oils (except flaxseed oil), starchy vegetables, and dairy products are not allowed.
Phase 2 - Ongoing
In this phase the calorie allowance is between 1200-1500 calories. The concept is to continue with the program until the targeted weight loss is achieved.
Phase 3 - The Maintenance Phase
The weight maintenance phase has a caloric intake of 1500 calories or more.

Fat Flush Pros and Cons
On the Up side
The diet contains all the elements of a good and healthy weight loss program. It is a detox or cleansing diet and has an exercise component.
On the Down side
In phase one the calorie levels are very low, particularly for men and low calorie levels can slow down the metabolism. This phase is also very restrictive. Eight hours of sleep may be good for some people but with 40 minutes of walking and 2 weight sessions per week, this amount of sleep is not enough for some people.
Recommendations
With this diet book, like all other diet books, you will need to be a fairly motivated and focused person.
NOTE: Many medical professionals question the validity of most detox diets, as there is small proof to suggest that any detoxification occurs.
