British author Audrey Eyton originally published The F-Plan Diet in 1987, and it was the first high-fiber weight loss diet.
High-Fiber
This is a low-fat, high-fiber diet and it is based on the theory that a high consumption of dietary fiber fills you up fast, providing the bulk of food without the high calories.
F-Plan Diet Plan
Complex carbs, such as baked potatoes, whole grains, legumes, and lots of fruits and vegetables are the staples of the diet. A common daily calorie count for this diet would be around the 1,250.
NOTE: The F-Plan Diet has been superseded by the F2 Diet (by the same author).
Breakfast
Piece of fresh fruit, cereal/fruit mix (special recipe) with low-fat milk
Lunch
Fresh fruits, Nutty Coleslaw
Dinner
Skinless baked chicken, mixed salad
Drinks
Calorie-free drinks, tea, and coffee with low-fat milk
F-Plan Summary
Weight loss will occur because of the low calories. High fiber diets also have some positive health aspects.
