Summary
The biggest drawback is the sheer monotony of eating cabbage soup. There are also concerns regarding the nutritional quality of this diet. The diet is low in protein, calcium, and essential fatty acids. It also contains high amounts of sodium or MSG (Monosodium Glutamate). Low calorie intake is responsible for weight loss.
